Principal: Robert P. Davidson
Prior to founding FinSym Partners, Mr. Davidson spent 18 years as an investment banker raising capital for companies and advising clients on mergers and acquisitions. He began his career in New York with PaineWebber before moving back to Seattle and working for Ragen MacKenzie and then Wells Fargo Securities.
He has counseled a wide range of companies in diverse industries, and his client list varies from start-ups to Fortune 50 companies. Prior to business school Bob spent four years at Anderson Consulting.
Bob graduated magna cum laude from Whitman College with a BA in economics and a minor in mathematics. He attended the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University where he earned his MBA with concentrations in finance and marketing.
Bob was born and raised in Seattle and currently resides with his wife, Malei, and son, Grey in Madison Park. Bob is currently serves on the Board of Trustees for University Prep. In his spare time he enjoys golfing, fly-fishing and swimming.
Principal: Brent Davidson
Prior to joining FinSym Partners, Brent spent over 18 years as at Holland America Line as a Finance and IT Executive. He served as CIO for six of those years modernizing the company’s technology to optimize core business functions including data analytics, CRM, financial and onboard systems. He started his career as a practicing CPA with Arthur Andersen for four years.
Brent is a graduate of the University of Washington Michael G. Foster School of Business with a concentration in accounting. He has passed the Series 65 examination with the National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD) and is a registered investment advisor and a licensed CPA with the State of Washington.
Brent was born and raised in the Seattle area and resides in Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood with his wife Jane, two sons Jack and Graham, and dog Bear. In his spare time Brent enjoys fly fishing, spending time outdoors, running, rooting for all the local sports teams (especially the Huskies), and spending time with his family.
